GLAMOUR magazine’s publisher Ringier Hungary has launched its first paywall publication, GLAMOUR Plusz. It offers its subscribers inspiring articles and a number of exclusive opportunities along three subscription package.
In addition to editorials, interviews and guest author’s content exclusively prepared for GLAMOUR Plusz, the brand’s new digital paywall platform, launched at the end of May 2024, will also provide access to private events, premiere screenings, limited gift packages, digital editions of print magazines and of course a range of GLAMOUR Days vouchers. The range of subscription-based channels for the magazine has been further extended, following the launch of the GLAMOUR Universe mobile app in 2022, which already boasted twenty-four thousand subscribers at the beginning of this year.
“GLAMOUR offers valuable content and attractive, exclusive opportunities to offer its readers that provide a solid base for brand extensions based on subscription or even ticket sales. This is how we have created numerous offerings around the brand in recent years, including the coupon-focused mobile app, the Beauty Festival, the limited edition BeautyBox series – just to name a few. The keyword is always exclusivity and valuable content, and readers choose according to their preferences.” said Gergely Tóth-Császár, Head of the Magazine Business Unit at Ringier Hungary.
“To bring GLAMOUR Plusz to life, we’ve expanded our team of authors, with whom we’re creating five to eight quality, exclusive content behind the paywall every day. Our focus is as much on supporting inner balance, accepting and building ourselves as it is on taking care of our appearance. That’s why we pay attention to mental health and selfcare, and the diversity of our society and women entrepreneurs, as well as beauty and fashion trends. But there’s much more for our online subscribers, as we’ve also developed a range of programme offers that give them unique benefits, whether it’s premium cinema experiences, limited edition products or discount coupons. What we offer behind the paywall, our readers will certainly not find elsewhere on the internet.” – sums up Krisztina Maróy, Editor-in-Chief of GLAMOUR.
