Ringier Hungary’s 15th GLAMOUR Women of the Year Gala took place last Thursday night at one of the most exclusive venues of the Hungarian capital, Várkert Bazár. Year after year, the gala is organized by the glossy magazine with the mission of giving greater visibility to the achievements and successes of women in Hungarian society and the media. At this year’s event, the winners of six categories received awards for their outstanding performance. Based on the votes of GLAMOUR’s readers and followers, the award for the fashion designer of the year went to Virág Kerényi, the singer of the year to Vera Tóth, the entrepreneur of the year to Nóra Ördög, the visual artist of the year award was given to Dalma Göncz, the actress of the year to Evelin Dobos, and the winner of the social media category of 2024 is Tímea Gelencsér.
Every year, the editorial team of GLAMOUR Hungary highlights a prominent social issue during the gala, which is also confirmed by presenting the Heroine of the Year award – the special category whose winner is always decided by the editors in recognition of an outstanding social effort. This award was handed over in 2024 to Romaversitas Foundation for their activities for a better media representation of the Roma minority group in Hungary.
