In accordance with the decision of the Swiss-based Ringier Group, the corporate structure of its Hungarian subsidiaries will be simplified as of May 31, 2025.

Among the companies with a media service profile, Ringier Hungary Kft., Blikk.hu Kft., Ringier Hungary Hírszolgálat Kft. and Ringier Hungary Nyomda Kft. are merging. Of the latter three, only Blikk Kft., responsible for publishing the Blikk daily newspaper and Blikk.hu news website, is now active. Its business profile is the same as that of Ringier Hungary Kft., therefore, in order to simplify administrative processes, the companies are merging and will continue to operate as Ringier Hungary Kft. in the future.

The change does not have a direct impact on the employees and business partners of the merging Blikk Kft., as Ringier Hungary Kft. ensures legal continuity.

Since its founding in 2022, Ringier Sports Media Hungary Kft., the publisher of sportal.hu digital platform, has operated as an independent company and it will continue to operate the same way in the future, following the operating structure of all brands of the Ringier Sports Media Group in 7 other European countries.

Likewise, profession.hu job board, the digital transaction business of the Ringier Group in Hungary, will continue to operate as an independent company.

In the future, these three companies – Ringier Hungary Kft., Ringier Sports Média Hungary Kft., and profession.hu Kft. – will represent the three business pillars of Swiss Ringier Group in the country.

This simplification of the corporate structure aims to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and strengthen Ringier’s position in the Hungarian market across its key business areas.
