Andrea Moharos has been a key member of the professional team at Ringier Hungary and its predecessor publishing companies for over two decades. She began her career in 2003 at Zöld Újság Zrt., later transitioning to the marketing department of Világgazdaság newspaper. She continued her work at Axel Springer, and later in the marketing team of Ringier Axel Springer, working with the current portfolio of products. Since the spring of 2024, she has held the position of Head of Marketing at Ringier Hungary. For years, her key responsibilities have included defining and managing the subscription marketing concept and the retail marketing strategy, working closely with the production and distribution departments. From April 1, 2025, she will take over the duties of István Gajdos, the current Director of Distribution and Logistics, who, after thirty-one years with the publishing house, will begin his retirement. Andrea will be supported in her work by Szilvia Kozári Distribution Team Leader, and will continue to rely on the managers of the current 12-member marketing team.

István Gajdos started his career in 1994 at the Hungarian subsidiaries of the then Axel Springer publishing house as Head of Distribution. Later, as Publishing Director, he was responsible for the production and distribution of several influential and memorable publications in the history of Hungarian press, including regional daily newspapers, Harlequin novels, Hölgyvilág and Gyöngy weekly women magazines, the still-successful Tvr-hét TV guide, Kiskegyed weekly, Blikk daily, and GLAMOUR magazine, whose Hungarian market launch he led in 2004. The procurement of printing paper, management of production processes and circulation, logistics, retail sales, subscription relations, and customer service for print brands were also under the direction of István Gajdos and his outstanding team.

“István’s professional journey and expertise embody everything that we, the long-time professionals in the media, experienced as the golden age of print. He represents, in one person, the core knowledge of the print media industry: he knows everything about paper, printing work, production optimization, distribution networks, subscribers, daily and weekly newspapers, and the magazine market. Despite the rapid transformation of our business and our strong commitment to digital media and new technologies, print is not only our past but also a vital part of our present, and we believe in its future – the power of printed press. István’s knowledge remains valuable, and we will carry it forward within the organization. On behalf of the entire Ringier team, I wish him long, healthy, and active retirement years!” – said Tibor Kovács, Managing Director of Ringier Hungary.

“Looking back at the past thirty years, I realize that I have been an active participant in a historical era of the press. In the beginning, we used lead typesetting technology in the printing houses, and later, I witnessed the transition from nighttime moving-post newspaper distribution to road transport. I could list many milestones up to the present day, where we now hold the entire range of fresh publications in our hands on our mobile phones,” added István Gajdos.
