From 13 May on, readers are offered a total of 11 million scratchies on the front page of Blikk throughout a period of 5 weeks.

According to data recorded mid-way through the campaign, sales figures went up by 10% to a number of 240 000 copies sold per day. The printing technology, which is equally considered special at a European-level, was developed at the Ringier printing press and is a new form of advertising that is now also available for advertisers.
The main characteristic of the prize-game is that it is simple. Whilst participants need to collect, send in, or compare things and above-all WAIT to find out whether they won anything in the case of other types of promotion action, instant prizes are drawn in the case of Blikk Bumm. The reader simply receives and free scratchie stuck on front page of Blikk and finds out whether they have won anything instantaneously. Prizes of 100 000 HUF in value are drawn daily and the first prize is 5 million HUF.

The promotion campaign is running for 35 days from 13 May through to 16 June in each Blikk and Sunday Blikk issue. According to surveys conducted in the initial period, a 10% increase has been recorded in the number of copies of Blikk sold per day, which is equivalent to an increase of 21 000 copies per day on average in relation to the period preceding the campaign and implies that sales figures have reached the 240 000 threshold on average.
